Also known as the TMM Pier. Located 3 miles south of downtown with a large shopping village, restaurants, and easy access to tours and taxis.
The International Pier (also called the TMM Pier) is Cozumel's mid-island cruise terminal, located approximately 3 miles south of downtown San Miguel. It is the busiest pier on the island and handles a wide range of cruise lines including Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Norwegian, and MSC.
The terminal itself is surrounded by a large shopping and dining complex with dozens of stores, jewelry shops, restaurants, and bars. You can easily spend an hour or two browsing without leaving the pier area. However, if you want to explore downtown Cozumel, a short $5-8 USD taxi ride takes you to the main plaza.
Most independent tour operators, including us, offer free pickup directly at the International Pier. You will not need to take a taxi to meet your tour. We come to the terminal and pick you up.
Tip: Royal Caribbean's largest ships (Oasis and Wonder of the Seas) typically dock here or at Puerta Maya depending on availability.
The International Pier has plenty to do without leaving the terminal area.
A large complex of shops, jewelry stores, and souvenir shops right at the pier. Duty-free pricing on many items.
Several restaurants and bars within the terminal complex. Margaritaville, Señor Frogs, and local options.
Currency exchange booths at the terminal. ATMs available. US dollars accepted everywhere but pesos get better rates.
A 5-minute, $5-8 USD taxi ride north to the main plaza, waterfront, and downtown shops and restaurants.
We meet you at the terminal. No taxi, no meeting points. Just walk off the ship and look for our team.
