You can book directly on our website using the tour pages. Select your tour, choose your date and time, enter the number of guests, and pay a small deposit online. The remainder is paid in cash on the day of your tour. We accept all major credit cards for deposits.

What deposit do I need to pay upfront?

Most tours require a small deposit per person to confirm your reservation, typically $10–$20 per adult. The remaining balance is paid in cash (USD) to your guide on the day of the tour. The exact deposit amount is shown on each tour page.

Do you accept credit cards or cash on the day?

Deposits are paid by credit or debit card online. The remaining balance on tour day is cash only (USD). We do not accept credit cards on the day. ATMs are available near the piers if you need to withdraw cash after docking.

Is it safe to pay online?

Yes. Our payment system uses industry-standard SSL encryption. We process deposits through PayPal, one of the most trusted payment platforms in the world. We never store your full card details.

Can I book for a large group?

Absolutely. We accommodate groups of all sizes. For groups larger than 20 people, contact us directly at contact@cozumelcruisetours.com and we'll put together a custom quote and dedicated vehicles.

Is there a minimum number of guests to book a tour?

Most of our tours run with as few as 2 guests. Some private tours have a minimum spending threshold. Check individual tour pages, or contact us and we'll find the best fit for your group size.

What is the NO TOUR, NO FEE guarantee?

If your ship doesn't dock in Cozumel for any reason, including weather, itinerary changes, or port closures, you receive a full refund of your deposit. No fine print, no processing fees. This is our promise to cruise passengers.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

Cancel at least 48 hours before your tour date and receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable, but we can often reschedule you to another date if you contact us promptly. If your ship alters its itinerary, cancellation is always 100% free.

What if the weather is bad on our tour day?

Light rain rarely stops our tours. The water is often calmer after a morning shower. If sea conditions are genuinely unsafe, our captains will postpone or modify the route. Safety is always first. If a tour cannot run due to weather, you receive a full refund.

Can I get a refund if my tour was not what I expected?

We stand behind every tour we run. If something goes genuinely wrong through our fault, such as a guide not showing up, equipment failing, or the tour being significantly different from what was described, contact us immediately and we will make it right.

Are your tours suitable for children?

Most of our tours are family-friendly. Snorkeling tours welcome children aged 5 and up (kids under 5 ride free and wear life jackets). Adventure tours like ATV and Jeep have minimum age or height requirements listed on the tour page. We always recommend contacting us if you have young children so we can advise the best fit.

Yes. Most tours offer a discounted child rate for guests aged 5–11. Children 4 and under are generally free. Exact pricing is listed on each tour page under 'Pricing'.

Do children need to know how to swim?

Accepted Answer

Children do not need to be strong swimmers for our snorkeling tours. All guests receive life jackets and noodles on request. Our guides stay close to non-swimmers. However, comfort in the water makes for a more enjoyable experience.

Can infants and toddlers join tours?

Infants and toddlers (under 5) are welcome on boat-based snorkeling and sightseeing tours. They ride free and wear a provided life jacket. We do not recommend high-adventure tours (ATVs, dune buggies, deep sea fishing) for infants.

Where do you pick us up?

We meet guests at the pier where your ship docks. Cozumel has three main piers: Puerta Maya, International Pier, and SSA Pier. Your booking confirmation will include the exact meeting point based on your ship's pier assignment. Look for our guides holding a sign with your name.

How do I know which pier my ship uses?

Your ship's app or daily newsletter will show pier assignment. Most Carnival ships dock at Puerta Maya. Royal Caribbean and Norwegian typically use the International Pier or Puerta Maya. If you're unsure, email us with your ship name and sailing date and we'll confirm.

What time should I meet the guide?

Your booking confirmation includes your tour departure time and meeting point. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early. Tours run on a fixed schedule so we cannot wait for late arrivals. Please plan for the walk from ship to meeting point (5–10 minutes at most piers).

What if I can't find my guide?

Call or WhatsApp the number in your booking confirmation immediately. Our team is always reachable during tour hours. We also have staff near the pier entrance who can help locate your guide.

How far are the reefs and tour sites from the pier?

Most reef and snorkeling sites are 15–30 minutes by boat from the pier. El Cielo and Palancar are on the southwest side of the island, approximately 20 minutes by boat. Land-based tours can take 30–60 minutes to reach inland sites depending on traffic.

Tour durations range from 3.5 to 6 hours depending on the experience. All duration estimates are listed on each tour page. We always account for time to return you to your ship well before departure.

How much time before ship departure do I need to be back?

We strongly recommend returning to the pier at least 60–90 minutes before your ship's all-aboard time. Our guides monitor ship schedules and will alert you if running behind. We have never left a guest stranded. Your safety and timely return is our top priority.

Can I book a tour if my ship only has 6 hours in port?

Yes. Most of our tours are designed for a 4–5 hour window and work well with short port stops. Let us know your all-aboard time when booking and we'll schedule the right departure time.

What if my ship arrives late or changes its schedule?

Ships sometimes arrive late or have itinerary adjustments. Notify us as soon as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate a later start. If the schedule change makes the tour impossible, you receive a full refund under our NO TOUR, NO FEE guarantee.

What should I bring on a snorkeling tour?

Bring swimsuit, sunscreen (reef-safe preferred, as the marine park encourages it), a towel, water shoes or sandals, sunglasses, and a small amount of cash for the balance payment. A waterproof phone case is handy for photos. We provide all snorkeling gear, life jackets, and drinks.

Most snorkeling tours include: all snorkeling equipment (mask, fins, vest), marine park fees, fresh water and sodas on the boat, and guide service. Some tours include lunch or additional food. Check each tour page for the exact inclusions list.

No. We provide all snorkeling equipment at no extra charge, including masks, fins, vests, and noodles. If you have prescription goggles or prefer your own gear, you're welcome to bring it.

Leave large valuables on the ship. While the boat is generally safe, we recommend not bringing expensive cameras, jewelry, or large amounts of cash. Bring only what you need for the day. We have small storage areas on board but cannot guarantee security for valuables.
