Cozumel Ferry Schedule
Ultramar Ferry
The primary way to travel to Cozumel is via ferry, from Playa del Carmen. Whether your coming from Cancun, Tulum or any other location within Riviera Maya. Thousands travel each day taking the short 35-40 minute passage. The ferries cross every 30 minutes making it easy to catch one.

Buying tickets for the Cozumel ferry
There are two ferry companies that make the passage between Playa Del Carmen and Cozumel. They both have kiosks right before the ferry pier, but you can purchase your tickets in advance online. You can buy one way or round trip tickets. Its recommended to buy a one way ticket and then buy a ticket when you are ready to come back. No need to wait for a ferry that you already bought a return ticket for, and worrying about the time as they run all day until 10PM.
